I’ve been back in the States for three months now, but just now getting around to posting the rest of my pictures. It’s taken several hours just to sort through, narrow down, and begin to edit the ones I have, but hopefully even more pictures will be forthcoming.
The images here are of us ReKo wwoofers walking 4 km to the bus stop to go into the nearby village, El Bolson. At this point in time (towards the latter half of the trip), we had Tom (a Brit), Isabel (another American), and Pete (also another American) staying at the farm.
Our trips into town had to be carefully planned and timed, as the bus was so far away and only stopped by three times a day. It proved inconvenient, and once we ended up taking a cab home just so we could stay in Bolson longer.
We found that the ReKo dogs, Venga, Princessa, and Chiquita (collectively known as Los Perros Locos), liked to follow us all the way to the bus stop. We would think we were walking alone when a tail or head would pop out of the brush 2 km later. They followed us the entire way there, stalking us along their own dog trails on the side of the road.
They would happily wait for the bus with us and then (presumably) head back to the farm after we left. It was a running joke that the dogs would pop up in the village when we weren’t expecting them.
